What is it?
A zero-friction frontend for Nano Banana image generation. No API keys, no account setup, no subscription — just pay as you go. It is, quite literally, the lazy person’s gateway to AI imagery.
Why did you build it?
Because setting up API keys and managing subscriptions feels like doing taxes. I wanted to generate images, not fill out forms. Peel lets you skip straight to the fun part.
Any challenges or tips?
The hardest part was resisting the urge to add features. The whole point is simplicity — one text box, one button, infinite bananas. Every time I thought “what if I added…” I made myself go outside instead.
Any plans to monetize or launch?
It already pays for itself with the usage fees. Might tell more people about it, might not. It exists, it works, and that feels like enough.
